Program Analyst

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Communicate with customers internal and external to the agency to collect and report on program information; recognizes the link between oral communication and business performance Assist in the conduct of special studies and analyses related to office functions and areas of improvement such as automation, performance measurement, and process improvement that may involve the adjustments of funds, personnel, and other resources Provide authoritative advice and assistance on administrative and management matters and monitors special and sensitive issues Serve as the liaison between the office and other organizations internal and external to BLS concerning administrative and management activities Serve on and sometimes lead task forces, committees, and other specialized groups concerning activities involving the division Work independently on management studies to: evaluate, advise on, and improve the effectiveness of work methods and
