Duties include but are not limited to: The position is responsible for on-site technical, operational, and quality control direction for data collection program in the Atlanta, GA Data Collection Center. Establishes, communicates, and monitors production goals and priorities for contract collection operations. Directs a program for, and evaluates, quality assurance activities in the data collection center. Provides expert guidance to contract staff to resolve unusually difficult conceptual, programmatic, and operations issues and to address response or other issues for particularly large, complex, or difficult companies. Serves as liaison between the Data Collection Center and BLS national office as well as among other data collection centers. Oversees the contractor management of technology and associated operational and logistical issues to ensure full infrastructure capability to operate the Data Collection Center reliably and efficiently.
