Physical Security Specialist

If selected at the GS-12 level, the below responsibilities will be performed in a developmental capacity. Assist the Law Enforcement Program Manager in the development, administration, and implementation of policies and procedures, standards, and training for the DLA Law enforcement programs. Establish and maintain safeguards for DLA personnel, installations, and resources from terrorism, vandalism, misuse, theft, assault, espionage, sabotage, unauthorized disclosure, or loss. Ensure effective implementation of law enforcement policies, procedures, and guidance for the security and safety of DLA employees. Evaluate the effectiveness of law enforcement and physical security programs at field activities. Perform a variety of complex administrative program assignments involving all aspects of strategic human capital planning, workforce development and effectiveness for the DLA Police.
