About the role
You will serve as a Realty Specialist and be responsible for providing real property support for several different geographic areas in support of the Coast Guard's real property asset management program. The purpose of this position is to perform technical real estate work in the acquisition, disposal, and overall management of real property owned, leased, or consigned to the Coast Guard and to perform professional work as a realty specialist. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Managing and administering complex real property leases, including negotiations, renewals, amendments, and enforcement of lease provisions. Performing cradle-to-grave acquisition of real property interests (leases, easements, land, rights-of-way), including market studies and site evaluations.
