About the role
You will advise Commander Submarine Forces U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC) on all aspects of stealth, susceptibility and signatures for submarines and subsea mission equipment. You will support collection, analysis, and reporting on submarine signatures, and work with applicable subject matter experts (SMEs) for other signature modalities. You will identify signature deficiencies and recommend corrective actions for Pacific Fleet Units. You will engage with SUBPAC leadership, especially Commander (N0), Materiel (N4) and Communications (N6) to provide expertise to applicable discussions and working groups, including those for acoustic communications. You will work with SUBPAC submarine squadrons, submarine commanding officers and crews for to increase acoustic health and signature management knowledge and awareness. You will stay informed about other TYCOM best practices and work to improve commonality between TYCOMs, to include East Coast and Atlantic Submarine Signature Fleet Represent
