About the role
Works with national headquarters (NHQ) and state leadership and mission staff to coordinate all aspects of state planning and assessment, including formulation of the state budget. Managing budget planning tools, drafting state budget plans, identifying potential critical changes to budget projections and plans. Coordinating and facilitating budget planning meetings, developing financial projections, costing out staffing plans, projecting additional budget needs and potential budget surpluses. Collaborating with program officials and staff to determine necessary adjustments due to major or unanticipated budget changes. Performs financial analysis, reporting, and information management. Analyzes financial information to confirm proper execution of funds in accordance with comprehensive applicable rules and regulations, metrics and as directed by the state.
