LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Serves as a logistics project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related studies and analysis of organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation and efficiency, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, and resource allocation. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.
