Business and Industry Specialist

The duties may include, but are not limited to: Independently performs complex business and acquisition program management, regulatory, and associated functions. Performs work related to the review, analysis, and/or interpretation of procurement statutes, regulations, policy, concepts, guidance, or procedures. Coordinates and leads procurement workgroups by researching, analyzing and developing deliverables for an acquisition and services environment. Provides acquisition advice and interpretation to internal and external customers on acquisition policies, procedures, concerns and/or issues. Provides suggestions to the Branch Chief on issues affecting procurement and acquisition programs; reviews documents concerning acquisition and procurement regulatory or reform issues.
