About the role
Collaborate with the System Manager to provide solutions to problems in the spacecraft developmental phases. Identify issues and provide engineering recommendations, as required, for resolution of any associated problems. Conduct a variety of tests, such as high-enthalpy, radiant heat and material property tests, required to develop and verify thermal protection systems. Perform spacecraft integration activities, such as technical reviews, operational plans, and/or reviewing contractor provided data to close technical requirements. Support a broad range of inter-disciplinary development, design, test, and verification activities to ensure system performance meets all the project requirements. Conduct technical assessments of contractor/commercial partner developed products. Facilitate or participate in program design reviews, safety reviews, product reviews, and other milestone meetings, and issue closeout for these reviews.
