About the role
Conducts complex legal, legislative, and social science research using databases, reports, histories, and journals; prepares summaries and provides authoritative findings to EEOC staff. Assists the public with FOIA Reading Room resources, including decisions, manuals, issuances, comments, and historical EEOC materials. Creates and maintains reference tools, bibliographies, and guides; publishes resources to the virtual library for staff use. Supports collection development by reviewing sources, evaluating materials, and recommending print and electronic acquisitions. Provides training and guidance on legal and social science databases; manages user access, solves account issues, and coordinates vendor training.
