About the role
Provides support in coordinating, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, operational plans, and projects related to agency-wide physical security, OSHA safety, emergency preparedness, and continuity of operations programs. Keeps abreast of new regulations, policies, guidance, and standards affecting physical security, Classified National Security Information, Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12), Identity and Credential Management, and USAccess Systems. Serves as a technical expert on physical security, OSHA safety, emergency preparedness, and continuity of operations. Ensures that persons requiring regular or routine physical access to EEOC controlled space are approved specific access and properly enrolled in the Enterprise Physical Access Control System (ePACS) using their Personal Identity Verification (PIV).
