About the role
Conduct benefit and cost sharing reviews, and facilitate collaboration with CMS actuaries responsible for rate reviews, and oversee the provision of technical assistance to Issuers, and notices of approval and disapproval to Issuers. Performs the full-range of supervisory duties for Division staff, including setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Direct the review and analysis of qualified health plans (QHPs) issuers and plans in the Federally-facilitated Marketplaces (FFMs), to ensure compliance with PPACA provisions related to QHP certification. Directs the development and updates to standard operating procedures and other sub-regulatory guidance's for Qualified Health Plans offered under the Federally-facilitated Marketplaces (FFMs).
