About the role
Serve as the senior CMS official in the regional office, leads and coordinates local external engagement efforts with all stakeholders and customers. Provide administrative and operational support to all employees in the regional office. CMS external affairs program, including liaising and engaging with a wide range of local and regional organizations and seeking their feedback. Direct a team of multi-disciplinary professionals with backgrounds in disciplines like public health, data analytics, marketing, and communications. Provide direction to implement and evaluate local outreach and education that informs the public about CMS programs. Serve as CMS' primary official in a regional area for requests for information and educational briefings. Develop and foster collaborative partnerships with stakeholders in order to amplify CMS messaging to the public.
