About the role
As a Supervisory Industrial Engineer, you will: Provide technical direction to the quality assurance program for the U.S. Mint at San Francisco Coin manufacturing and die finishing facility. Responsible for the technical support of product quality of numismatic, proof and bullion coin, medals, packaging material, dies and small parts (chemical analysis, metallurgy, specifications, requirements, etc.) and a wide variety of mechanical components, subassemblies and assemblies. Identify problem areas where the process control levels must be adjusted based on the quality history of in-process checks and final inspections results.
