Program Analyst (Risk and Audit Analyst)

GS-11: Applies analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Uses qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and/or productivity of administrative and/or technical programs. Plans, schedules, and conducts detailed projects and/or studies to evaluate complex functions and work processes, analyze findings and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or support setting. Develops new or modifies a wide variety of work methods, techniques, and procedures for administering program services, guidelines and procedures, and automating work processes for the conduct of administrative support functions or program operations. Prepares work, projects, and study papers and/or reports in organizing and delivering briefings to management and/or senior staff employee(s) to encourage understanding and acceptance
