About the role
Duties include but are not limited to: Anesthesia and Pain Management Service Core Privileges: comprise The types of clinical activity normally performed by an Anesthesiologist and/or Pain Management Specialist as supported and evidenced by state licensure, completion of an approved residency, board eligibility or certification in an appropriate field, and review of all pertinent individual data by the VANTHCS Chief of Anesthesia and Pain Management Service. Privileges listed under "core" paragraphs are a representative sample of the types of clinical activities and procedures that can be performed under that level of training and is not an inclusive list. Approved privileges for Anesthesia and Pain Management Service Physicians include performance at the Dallas VA Medical Center Operating Room Suites, all Intensive Care Units, Pre-Operative area, and the Pain Clinic, inpatient and outpatient treatment areas, telemedicine for staff trained in the use of the telemedicine modality, and r
