FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST

Serves as a functional expert for a major segment of the automated military pay systems responsible for systematic, comprehensive evaluations of software and related managerial products. Coordinates with external agencies/offices and internal offices in the development of systems interfaces and valid system requirements, providing technical advice, gaining cooperation, and resolving problems resulting from normal system updates. Validates functional requirements documentation to ensure compliance with existing statutes and Department of Defense (DoD) functional policy. Assists in testing and evaluating complex requirements and those that require a great degree of integration by determining and preparing inputs and analyzing outputs to determine if the system complies with the requirements. Conducts financial management reviews and examines records, reports, and computer inputs and outputs to gather facts that define and validate problem areas and assesses effectiveness of financial man
