Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist (Director of Facilities Operations)

Position is essential. Required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather situations. The Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist (Director of Facilities Operations) performs planning, estimating, coordination and scheduling for the trades, crafts and labor workforce for construction, renovation and installation projects. The incumbent conducts inspections of construction and renovation work; formulates plans for the most efficient use of staff resources; and performs investigations and exploratory assessments to determine the scope and nature of required solutions, including the use of contractors. Serves as liaison with the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE), Construction Execution Branch, Safety, Fire and Environmental Programs, U.S. Capitol Police, and other offices and jurisdictions of the AOC.
