About the role
Tour of duty for this position is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Note: This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations. The night shift position is subject to receive 10%-night differential. Duties include, but are not limited to: Lead the work of Custodial Workers, WG-04. Receive work assignments and guidelines from Custodial Worker Supervisors. Set the pace of work, demonstrate proper work procedures, check work in progress and answer questions from the Supervisor and the workers. Perform cleaning tasks in an assigned area without instruction. Schedule cleaning tasks within the framework of an assigned schedule which states the frequency of each task. Clean and adjust equipment. Perform minor equipment maintenance such as cleaning, oiling and changing brushes, buffer discs and rollers. Move, set up and work from scaffolds, ladders and man lifts. Clean and maintain floors, walls and ceilings.
