SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

You will be responsible for setting technical standards, technical area expertise, ensuring safe and reliable operations, and ensuring effective and efficient systems engineering. You will plan short and long term work schedules, establish and set priorities on the basis of specified work schedules, levels of difficulties and employee capabilities. You will provide direction to subordinate supervisors and supervisory personnel outside the division to resolve problems. You will develop and ensure adequacy and accuracy of position descriptions, develop performance standards and evaluate subordinate supervisors work performance. You will, through subordinate supervisors, review and approve process improvement measures to improve work methods within the Engineering and Planning department and in other production codes as it relates to meeting technical requirements. You will be responsible for carrying out EEO policies and communicating support of these policies to subordinates.
