SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

You will serve as the Deputy to the Force Safety Officer who provides safety and occupational health oversight, inspection, and support for all Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic afloat and aviation commands. You will utilize RMI on a daily basis in order to monitor aviation mishap reporting, to include assisting in drafting CNAL mishap endorsements, managing system access of all Force commands and managing CNAL mishap and hazard recommendation closeout. You will be responsible for the management, operation and oversight of Naval Air Forces Atlantic Safety Directorate, consisting of Aviation Safety and Industrial Hygiene branches. You will assist with safety and occupational health activities that include aviation, maritime, industrial, traffic, off-duty, fall and environmental protection. You will evaluate, from a safety and occupational health perspective, highly hazardous occupations and complex operations found aboard afloat units and aviation commands. You will manage AIRLANT nav
