Lead Civil Engineer - Structural - Direct Hire-SME

As a Lead Civil Engineer (Structural), you will: Represent the Division on structural matters and recommend the selection of safe and economical bridge types and designs, site selection, structure locations, and structural adequacy. Participate as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team to develop FLH projects. Develop preliminary plans for structures that show type, size, and location (TS&L) of the proposed structures. Interpret and apply relevant structural codes for design, construction, testing, and maintenance of structures, including seismic design and retrofit. Determine structural design parameters. Use advanced analysis and/or conduct studies to develop novel design concepts for both new construction and rehabilitation, as needed, to address project needs and advance the state of the practice.
