Supervisory Physician (Physician Medicine & Rehabilitation)

Directly supervise Physicians, PAs, Chiropractors, Chiropractic Assistants, Acupuncturists, Medical Massage Therapists, Movement Therapists, and others as required. Responsible for the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who are referred primarily for comprehensive pain management and/or a functional restoration program in the outpatient setting and on the inpatient wards on a consultation basis. Evaluate, recommend, and coordinate appropriate pain and functional rehabilitation regimens for inpatients with multiple complicated problems referred by various inpatient services. Provide initiative and leadership for a comprehensive, integrative, interdisciplinary Pain Medicine practice model. Interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate to treat acute and chronic pain (in the clinic as well as the Operating Room).
