About the role
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the following duties: Works with customers to identify their needs, solve or coordinate timely resolution of customer orders/support problems, and act as a customer advocate and liaison. Monitors back-order status reports and resolve, or help resolve problem actions not meeting customer requirements. Investigates, coordinates, and releases Sales Orders that inhibit flow through automated systems. Applies DLA expedite policy and other operating procedures to expedite the actions within supply chains. Coordinates research and tracking of Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) actions to facilitate resolution of backorders or take action to expedite delinquent contracts having an impact on unfilled orders using established policies/guidance.
