About the role
As a Business and Industry Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Exercise responsibility as an independent specialist carrying out purchasing of supplies and services utilizing the government purchase card in a timely manner while adhering to Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and federal acquisition regulations. Work with the sub-contractors to track progress, work progress and accuracy. Prepare Grants, cooperative agreements and contract reports as requested, following up on actions and assisting where needed. Coordinates Business Applications Solution (BAS)/Procurement Information System for Management (PRISM) for all contract actions. Obtain Level 1 COR certification and serve as backup COR. Facilitate contracts with relatively low complexity, low contract management risk, and estimated contract values up to $250,000.
