SECURITY SPECIALIST (SSO)

You will manage all facets of the personnel security program for individuals requiring access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. You will conduct in-depth interviews and initiate investigations to determine eligibility for access to sensitive national security information. You will administer security indoctrinations, awareness briefings, and training to ensure personnel understand their security responsibilities. You will continuously evaluate the eligibility of cleared personnel and manage the five-year periodic reinvestigation program for all staff. You will maintain accurate personnel security databases, access rosters, and records in compliance with federal adjudication systems. You will serve as the official channel to process, certify, and validate incoming and outgoing visitor security clearances and accesses. You will provide guidance to management and staff on security policies and assist in processing requests for sensitive access eligibility.
