About the role

You will serve as senior air vehicle performance engineer, technical specialist and engineering functional team lead for aircraft performance of multiple aircraft programs. You will coordinate and conduct performance engineering activities related to research, development, acquisition and sustainment of major aircraft programs. You will provide support through development and application of methods for air vehicle performance and aerodynamic model development, performance calculation, modeling and simulation and related activities (i.e. wind tunnel and flight testing). You will be responsible for the development and/or certification of Flight Manual content and electronic performance calculators or mission planning products related to aircraft performance. You will be responsible for safety of flight related to performance and related aerodynamics, ensuring minimum safety standards are satisfied prior to providing flight clearance authorization.
