About the role
Major duties of this position are: Manage the regional system for receiving, tracking and replying to requests submitted under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Interpret and analyze data and produces reports for the Region, utilizing various parameters needed to obtain the data. Independently interpret rules, regulations, and common practices pertaining to the FOIA and privacy act. Manage and coordinate the Region's internal safety and health program. Manages the Region's information and resource libraries for internal and external users.
