General Engineer

Prepares documents for the development of construction packages. Researches and prepares project development and detailed paragraph justifications for projects. Projects involve determining total project considerations such as alternatives, cost economic analysis, feasibility, need, job requirements, budget, etc. Modifies or makes compromises with standard methods to insure the validity of projects and the installation mission capability. Monitors, coordinates, reviews, assess the technical adequacy of plans, provides specification requirements for major projects. Reviews and coordinates design analysis, cost estimates, and specifications for complex structures based on very broad and general guidance from the user. Monitors contract activity to assure compliance with contract provisions and standards.
