About the role
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities, and establishes schedules for work completion. Assigns work based on priorities, requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees. Ensures timely performance of work and that quality standards are met. Interviews candidates for vacant positions, recommends selections, promotions, or reassignments. Outlines program objectives, initiates actions, identifies problems, and formulates/develops plans, methods, policies and procedures. Interprets information technology regulations, standards and guidelines, conducts analysis, provides guidance and recommends solutions for complex information technology issues. Represents the Corporate Information Office (CIO), G-6 in meetings and workgroups, and commits the CIO, G-6 and TACOM to courses of action.
