About the role

Duties of the Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to: Serving as a staff expert, technical authority and direct consultant concerning broad occupational health matters with special expertise in occupational health nursing. Drafting OSHA compliance assistance guidance, training materials, letters of interpretation, and technical resources. Supporting OOMN's enforcement support work, including reviewing cases and other Directorate activities, including reviewing policy documents and making appropriate recommendations. Evaluating, planning, and conducting process improvement, program analysis, studies and special projects that support OSHA. Providing technical assistance and training to OSHA's National Office and regional offices, individuals, other federal and state agencies and non-governmental organizations.
