Contract Specialist

Develops acquisition and contractual strategies in alignment with a variety of contractors. Establishes long-term contractual support for critical programs to meet mission requirements. Prepare solicitation documents, incorporating terms, conditions, and special clauses. Assesses factors such as profits, excess cost, and methods of repurchase to determine when to execute contract terminations. Develops negotiation strategies, utilized when conducting negotiations before and/or after contract award. Monitors the solicitation through its entire phase, issuing amendments, answering potential offerors' questions, and conducting pre-proposal conferences. Performs in depth price and cost analysis, unit costs, and prices data and contract project costs.
