SECURITY SPECIALIST

Support senior security specialist manage the development, evaluation, implementation, and operation of procedures and methods used for safeguarding personnel, information, property, operations, and materials. Reviews requests for personnel security clearances and special accesses for civilian and contractor positions and ascertains the need for security access requested. Serve as alternate in the following security disciplines: Physical Security, Operation Security, Information Security, Special Security, DEERS/ID Office, and Access Control. Updates security policies, performs contractor vetting and escorting, and schedule classified meetings. Conducts security briefings/debriefings, process foreign travel requests, and publication reviews.
