Provides authoritative technical expertise and staff oversight of data analysis and research tasks required to implement the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program and the Medicare Prescription Drug Inflation Rebate Program. Leverages mastery of the wide range of laws, policies, regulations, precedents, legislation, issues, and program goals, including current trends and initiatives, to develop and implement new analytical approaches. Conducts research and analysis and serves as a technical authority on critical operational matters related to policies necessary to assure appropriate implementation of the Negotiation and Inflation Rebate Programs and related legislation. Leverages sophisticated analysis of a variety of data sets to support implementation of drug price negotiations and inflation rebates.
