About the role
As an Outdoor Recreation Planner, some of your typical work assignments may include: Serving as a senior technical expert and Commission contact and liaison on highly complex, controversial, and diverse issues dealing with outdoor recreation, shoreline management, visual resources, and land use matters. Organizing, planning, and providing the direction and initiative required to ensure coverage of significant environmental impacts and the timely completion of NEPA documents. Preparing input to correspondence, orders, and environmental documents on exceptionally difficult and highly complex outdoor recreation, shoreline management, visual resources, and land use related matters.
