About the role
The Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) will provide leadership and direction for the following functions: 1. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective provision of core services and support to internal teams and external stakeholders, focusing on operational excellence and customer satisfaction in the IT community. The incumbent oversees NOAA's Unified Messaging Services, Identity and Access Management, Application Hosting and Development, IT Service Help Desk, Critical Infrastructure and Management Services, Cloud and Web Operations, and NOAA's Open Data Dissemination and Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions. 2. The incumbent oversees the OCIO division that manages the development and review of policies, plans, and procedures for management and use of IT resources, including all computing, telecommunications, and associated resources.
