About the role

Conducts troubleshooting inspections of assigned facilities, grounds, drainage ditches, and marsh and water areas for regular or irregular grounds problem. Surveys all water irrigation structures. Locates and identifies a wide variety of leakage. Selects equipment and sets controls to allow for wind, terrain, and population conditions. Wears personal protective equipment designed to nullify the risk of exposure to toxic dust and sprays. Assesses turf grass for fungus and/ or diseases. Ability to identify and diagnose solution. makes recommendation for treatment and preventative measures. Troubleshoots defects and diagnoses malfunction using inspection reports, diagnostic computer printouts, visual inspections, and auditory test and test equipment such as computerized engine analyzers, compression testers, test benches, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and special feeler and dial gauges to determine the kind and extend of maintenance and or repairs needed.
