Lead Human Resources Specialist (Employee and Labor Relations)

Serves as expert advisor and the primary consultant to a group of organizational segments in Labor and Employee Relations. Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals and objectives. Provides expert advice and guidance to supervisors concerning discipline, grievances, appeals, leave administration and performance management. Coordinates concepts with the union regarding changes in regulations, policies and procedures relating to personnel practices. Develops, modifies, conducts and/or oversees the presentation of basic and/or refresher training in employee relations policies and procedures.
