Space Management Specialist

Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the Office of Administration and are assigned based on the need of the agency. The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Program, design, analyze, oversee, coordinate and approve the adequacy of space requests, plans, special requirements, new construction, alterations and repairs. Coordinate the ordering, installation and integration of project-related amenities such as furnishings, data and voice equipment, including cabling. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior office managers and personnel from USCIS and other Federal agencies as well as private architectural and engineering firms, construction managers and contractors for coordination.
