About the role
You will analyze and resolve high-risk hazards present at the industrial complex. You will identify and correct industrial hazards throughout painting, metal, woodworking, electrical and electronic shops, major warehousing and supply operations, acid-caustic storage areas, industrial laboratory facilities, piers and dry docks. You will apply hazard analysis methods and techniques to resolve operational safety and health problems. You will initiate procedures implementing technical safety standards, codes, and safety requirements for a wide variety of operations and activities. You will, as a technical expert on Nuclear Program issues, represent management at meetings, conferences, critiques, and advise members on Environmental Safety and Health Department actions. You will inspect work environments to ensure safety and recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
