Contract Specialist

Responsible for the training and daily administrative requirements for the 1100 series within DCMA. Engages and collaborates with regional commands and senior management to ensure the contracting career program maintains a competent and well-qualified 1102, 1103, and 1106 civilian workforce capable of supporting DCMA's mission. Organizes and conducts training conference for the 1100 series. Ensures training requirements and needs are met for the functional specialist to perform assigned duties to support the Agency's mission. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates for currency, accuracy, and completeness of current and future training opportunities. Independently leads the deployment and accomplishment of Knowledge Management program. Provides recommendations for improvements in effectiveness of contracting competency development initiatives and places main emphasis on identifying best practices which can be adopted agency-wide and implemented through learning forums. Provides the functional
