About the role
Researches, interprets, and analyzes public law, congressional reports, DoD/DCAA directives/instructions, emerging policies, and investigative trends. Conducts independent assessments of the design, implementation, and/or results of agency's operations, programs or policies. Conducts initial review of inquiry or referral and preliminary analysis to determine allegations, issues, nature and scope, and whether matter(s) should be resolved by OIG or in conjunction with or within another office within DCAA. Ensures that all documentation and reports are of acceptable quality in content, technical sufficiency, completeness, and compliance with law, regulation and policy. Independently plans, arranges and executes all aspects of investigative and inspection actions for inquiries and complaints.
