Construction Control Representative

At the full performance, GS-11: Serves as a senior Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) at the site of construction, monitoring construction activities for assigned projects. Coordinates with a variety of interested parties, from customers to contractors to local government officials, state and local environmental agencies, etc. Interprets contract requirements throughout all phases of construction work. Maintain surveillance of the contractor inspection system for compliance with approved quality control plan. Make on-the-spot decisions/commitments not affecting basic design/cost to avoid delays in construction projects.
