Electrical Engineer

Coordinates with Project Managers to develop designs and cost estimates for complex electrical and electronic work. Reviews studies, proposals, plans, and specifications for technical accuracy, completeness, and economic feasibility. Provides specialized electrical engineering technical reviews, guidance, and policy recommendations to personnel. Serves as a consultant for the development of designs, specifications, and cost estimates for large, complex electrical systems. Reviews shop drawings, equipment specifications, and design analyses from contractors for compliance with contract plans. Reviews electrical plans and designs prepared by architect-engineers or in-house staff for accuracy and compliance with criteria. Performs on-site inspections to identify problems and initiate corrective actions.
