Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (NAF Policy)

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (NAF Policy) at the GS-0201-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and administration of all NAF personnel programs for the entire Department of Defense (DoD) civilian workforce. Leads the development, implementation, and interpretation of all DoD-wide NAF personnel policies. Briefs senior officials on complex issues and responds to high-level engagements with OPM, Congress, other federal agencies, and private industry. Evaluates proposed legislation and regulatory changes to determine their impact on NAF employees and programs. Establishes performance objectives, conducts evaluations, provides advice and counsel to employees, reviews the work of subordinates to ensure completion, adequacy, and quality.
