PROGRAM & MANAGEMENT ANALYST (ACQUISITION)

This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated October 15, 2021. As a PROGRAM & MANAGEMENT ANALYST (ACQUISITION) at the GS-0343-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Participates in the development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of program management and acquisition plans for large labor, maintenance and commodity projects primarily relating to Information Technology (IT) programs. Determines financial and business capability of present and potential contractors related to acquisition plans, scrutinizing operating data to determine the effect of proposed contract conditions on the contractor's ability to perform. Maintains responsibility and is accountable for analyzing a variety of acquisition mechanisms for DMDC, such as identifying the full complement of acquisition alternatives
