QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Manages overall Base Maintenance Contractor performance of preventive maintenance on electronic control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration. Inspects Base maintenance contractor processes for installs, overhauls, repairs, fabrication, and/or modifications of electronically controlled industrial systems, components, and/or subassemblies. Serves as a CE Operations specialist by monitoring the BMS contractor's performance of the moderately complex Base Maintenance Support service contract and functions as a liaison between the contractor, building managers, building occupants, airfield manager, and the Contracting Officer. Develops, prepares, and writes clear and precise Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, Surveillance Plans, and Requests for Proposal, contract modifications, Independent Government Estimates, and quality standards for moderately complex service contracts.
