Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist

Manages all phases of transportation operations and contracts to include specialized movement of ammunition and hazardous material and all systems that support movement. Delivers pre-briefs to General Officers and Senior Executive Service members within the SDDC staff for 4 star level briefings. Sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Provides accurate and timely updates to SDDC management officials. Coordinates and implements decisions made by the Chief of Operations and G3 Directorate. Areas of emphasis include, but are not limited to active involvement in current operational planning. Oversees global traffic management to ensure DOD customer freight movement requirements are met efficiently, effectively, and at best value. Plans and manages the Battle Staff, a 24/7 operation, which controls the execution phase of assigned transportation assets world-wide.
