Directing the Corporation's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act programs on a day-to-day and oversight basis. Developing and drafting the FDIC's federal regulations, policies and procedures, and Corporation directives regarding the Corporation's compliance with the FOIA, the Privacy Act, and their relationship to other disclosure and privacy laws, rules, and regulations. Training and supervising the training for the employees of the Corporation in the FOIA, the Privacy Act, the FDIC's implementing regulations, and OMB's and DOJ's FOIA and Privacy Act guidance publications. Providing advice and assistance to the Corporation's divisions and offices on FOIA and Privacy Act requirements in making determinations on requests for information, documents, and records, including the review of proposed legislation that would impact the FDIC's privacy and disclosure regulations, policies, and safeguards.
