Substance Abuse Counselor

Manage psycho educational patient workshops ensuring relevant training is provided and that workshops meet the highest standard of care. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in their recovery efforts. Assist in crisis situations and providing support during difficult times. Develop patient treatment plans and documents all patient clinical encounters in electronic medical record. Collaborate closely with medical staff, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
